Danny, several decades after his wife passed away from old age and holed up himself in the Infinite Realms and allowed time to become funky around his lair, became an ancient. Until then he classified as a gatekeeper, banshee and balance personified. Now he was ancient of space and balance.

Unfortunately for existence as a whole Danny gets lonely so he decides to have a kid the ghost way. And to prevent him from being a clone, the kid becomes a chaos lord.

Then he chose the name Klarion for himself. Growing up with ghosts made different kinds of fights have a different kinds of meanings. Magic fight means he is serious about defeating you and sees you as an enemy. A fist fight means that he is being friendly and doesn't care who wins. Stabbing means that he is flirting. And he is always expecting the same things. Always.

So imagine Klarion's reaction when Damian tries to stab him.

DPxDC prompt where when Vlad removes Danny's ghost half from him following the events in TUE, he more specifically removes his Core.

The human Danny that remains is half of what he should be. Half his memories, half his personality, half his drive-- half of everything that matters to him.
The other half of him remains trapped in the core, locked away and desperate to reunite with his other half.

Vlad keeps the core on him at all times, determined to keep it away from Danny. He doesn't fully understand what he's done, but he knows that the core has life in it, and that reuniting the boy with it could prove disastrous for him.
Particularly when the human Danny that remains has become such a docile, acceptable model of a son.

Vlad attends a Wayne Gala in Gotham, with the core ever on his person.
There's an odd sort of energy to Gotham. A weird, nasty curl of ectoplasm choking the air that he doesn't care to understand. It's just as present at the gala, and no less so when he meets Bruce Wayne and his assortment of children.

One of them appears ill. He stares at Vlad with wide eyes and an ashen face. Vlad doesn't think much of it when the young man turns and storms off, assuming he's finding a place to be sick.

He's not wrong.

Jason's not entirely sure what he feels, looking at Vlad Masters. It's like watching hands claw underneath a sheet of ice, knowing that someone beneath it is slowly drowning.
He feels sick, he feels afraid-- he feels horror and anger in equal measure.

Jason shakes, stumbling away from the encounter. He's not sure where to even begin when Dick follows him, asking what's wrong.

Extra layer of disaster: Danny attends the gala also and his presence feels Hollow.

Superman has a stalker. He first noticed the kid a few weeks ago on a rooftop close to where he had just defeated some robbers. He hadn't thought much of it initially. Then the kid popped up a few days later once again close to one of his fights. This time, Superman took notice of a camera in the small child's hands. He had his suspicions about what was going on but held off until he saw the kid for a third time.

This time he couldn't help but go over to tell the kid off about how dangerous it was. He would be more than happy to take pictures with him later but being this close to fights was dangerous. When the boy managed a stunned nod, Superman thought he got the message. That is until he spotted this child a couple days later, tiny hands once again wrapped around a camera as he took pictures. It was at this moment that he recalled Bruce telling him about how Tim first got acquainted with the Bats. Oh no.

Surprisingly, Danny doesn't particularly mind his current situation. I mean sure, he's stuck in a ten year old body and stranded in another dimension but he was in a world full of superheroes. Better yet, the superhero of the city he was currently staying in was apparently an alien. How cool is that? Maybe the sneaking close to his fights to get pictures was a little much. But that had led to Superman talking to him. Ok well it was closer to scolding him but same difference.

"Master Bruce, would it be alright if I had someone over?" Danny's soft voice breaks the chatter around the table. Bruce is honestly surprised to hear the boy speak up without prompting. It takes him a moment to answer how unexpecting the request is.

The boy seems to think his silence is an answer, for he ducks his head and brings up his shoulders. "Nevermind. It was stupid. I'll tell Clockwork to forget it."

"No. No. This is your house as well, Danny. You can invite any of your friends. I'm just surprised Clockwork would allow you to contact guests from your old home." Bruce assures. His eyes flicker to the rest of the table, showing how everyone is focused on their own plates, but all conversation has died.

Like Mobei having to explain to a moping Binghe that it wasn't a courting fight but a fight to prevent a bride stealing

And Binghe is just being more and more pouty

The funniest thing about SVSSS is fans think that Binghe is jealous of the relationship between Shen Qingqiu and Shang Qinghua

But in actuality I think a single rant about how annoying Shang Qinghua is would make him be absolutely fine about them

Like yes they are casual together but that's because Shen Qingqiu is chasing after him with a big stick

It's Mobei Jun who gets jealous because Shen Qingqiu chases after Shang Qinghua with a big stick

Also they both moved to protect Shang Qinghua at Maigu Ridge AND during the Abyss arc they were always going off together to do shit

Basically Mobei definitely low key sees him as a love rival

In a Modern Au Mobei would see himself as Shang Qinghua's sugar daddy and see Shen Qingqiu as a rival sugar daddy

Meanwhile Shang Qinghua just thinks he has a weird relationship with his boss and a best friend/hater who fusses

Shen Yuan just wants quality fiction about monsters damnit!
